报告摘要 | A domain in $\mathbb{R}^3$ that touches the $x_3$ axis at one point is found with the following property. For any initial value in a $C^2$ class, the axially symmetric Navier Stokes equations with Navier slip boundary condition has a finite energy solution that stays bounded for any given time, i.e. no finite time blow up of the fluid velocity occurs. The result seems to be the first case where the Navier-Stokes regularity problem is solved beyond dimension 2. | ||
报告人简介 | 张旗,美国加州大学河滨分校终身教授。1996年于美国普渡大学获得博士学位,先后任职于美国孟菲斯大学,美国密苏里大学,美国加州大学。目前主要研究方向是带有奇性的抛物型方程和抛物型系统、Navier-Stokes方程、热核的估计、Ricci流等。成果发表于CPAM,CMP,ARMA,Adv. Math.等顶尖国际数学期刊。 |
