In this talk, we will discuss the problem of fault tolerant control and performance optimization for singular systems subject to both nonlinear perturbation and actuator saturation. Two methods, namely, saturation avoidance method and saturation allowance method are proposed to address this issue. Some conditions for the existence of controllers are derived which guarantees the regularity, impulse-free and stability of the closed-loop system under all possible faults. In addition, some optimization problems are also formulated to determine the largest contractively invariant set. The L2\L∞ performance of the closed-loop system can be naturally obtained based on the above results. For the adaptive controller, the failure effects on the system can be compensated by estimating the fault and updating the design parameter matrices online.
About the speaker
左志强,天津大学电气与自动化工程学院教授,博士生导师。2001.9-2004.6在北京大学系统与控制中心攻读博士,获理学博士学位。2008.7-2010.6在香港城市大学以Research Fellow的身份从事博士后研究。2012.3-2012.4在香港大学访问。现任中国自动化学会控制理论专业青年工作委员会委员,中国系统仿真学会智能物联系统建模与仿真专业委员会委员;担任第30届、第31届中国控制会议程序委员会委员,第3届国际航空航天系统与控制研讨会程序委员会委员,第7届亚洲控制会议H2/ H∞分会主席,第23届中国控制会议-稳定性与镇定分会合作主席。近年来共发表和录用学术论文70余篇,其中SCI检索源期刊近30篇,EI检索50余篇。作为项目负责人主持4项国家自然科学基金项目,主持在研教育部新世纪优秀人才支持计划项目1项。
